ZF AVE 130 Electric Portal Axle. Electric portal axle for low floor buses.

Fully 13 to gvw low-floor axle system with integrated electric wheel motors, together 250 kW. Has been tested extensively between 2010 and 2015, and is now in production in Friedrichshafen, Germany.

Installation space and connecting dimensions are compatible with conventional ZF portal axles AV 133 and AVN 132. Axle contains one high-speed asynchronous motor per wheel head, differential is not necessary. Voltage is 650 V. Cooling partly with air and partly with liquid.

Weight of the complete axle system is 1220 kg. Rim size: 22.5" x 8.25". Wheel size: 275/70 R22.5. All gears helical toothed
